Matrix metalloprotease -2 and <t>TIMP-1</t> expression is upregulated in human pancreatic tumour tissues. Immunohistochemistry analyses of TIMP-1 and MMP-2 in human pancreatic tumours and adjacent normal tissues. TIMP-1 protein expression was absent in normal pancreatic tissue ( A and B ), with the exception of islets, which stained focally positive, however, TIMP-1 expression was significantly upregulated in PDAC tissue ( C and D ).
